BELFOR Wins Prestigious Chrysalis Awards

BELFOR Boston and BELFOR Sacramento are the “2015 Chrysalis Award for Remodeling Excellence” winners in the Commercial Insurance Restoration category. BELFOR Boston is proud to receive the National Award and BELFOR Sacramento is the recipient of the Regional Award. The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.

BELFOR Boston’s professional restoration teams were able to assist Valley View School following a devastating fire at their campus which caused significant structural and smoke damage, requiring expert fire restoration services. Thankfully, no one was injured but it was a daunting task to restore the historic buildings to their pre-loss conditions all while school stayed in-session and during the frigid, New England winter months. From emergency response through complete reconstruction, BELFOR Boston was honored to “Restore More Than Property” and help the students come out of the experience “Valley View Strong”!

Team BELFOR Sacramento’s emergency restoration and water damage cleanup crews were on-site at the historic Gallo Center for the Performing Arts after an ice maker supply line in the concession area malfunctioned and caused significant flooding and water damage. Fortunately, BELFOR’s crews worked around-the-clock “behind the scenes” including weekends and nights to restore the original splendor of the arena in time for important performances – the show had to go on!
